The Bihar combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) conducts the Industrial Training Institute Competitive Admission Test (ITICAT) for admission in various professional courses of Agriculture, Engineering and Medical in ITI colleges situated within the state of Bihar.

BCECEB ITICAT 2019 Important Dates

Given below is the list of tentative dates for BCECEB ITICAT 2019
  • Start of Online Registration: March, 2019
  • Last date for payment of fees through challan: April, 2019
  • Editing of Online Application Form: Mid April 2019
  • Date of Issue of Online Admit Cards: 1st June, 2019
  • Exam Date: June, 2019 

BCECEB ITICAT Eligibility Criteria

Given below is the list of eligibility criteria for BCECEB ITICAT. It is important that the applicant should thoroughly go through it before applying for the entrance test
  1. The minimum age of the candidate should not be less than 14 years.
  2. The candidate should have passed their class X or other equivalent exam from a reputed university or board.
  3. The candidate should have studied science or mathematics during their class 10 exam

BCECEB ITICAT Application Process

Step 1

The application process for ITICAT starts with the candidates getting themselves registered with the board using their email id and mobile no. The candidates will further receive an SMS containing information such as their password and registration no. for login.

Step 2

Once the registration is done, the candidates are required to pay the registration fees either online using credit/debit/online banking or through bank challan.

Step 3

The third step of ITICAT application process is the filling up of the online application form using the official website

Step 4

The fourth step is to save and take a printout of the application form.

Step 5

After the whole process of filling up the application form and payment of fees is done, the last and the final step is the issue of admit cards. The candidates will be able to download their BCECE ITICAT admit cards online from the official website.

N.B. 2 marks will be given for each correct response. However, there will be no negative marking system for any incorrect answer.


The candidates who qualify in their ITICAT are further called for counselling session. The list of documents to be submitted by the candidates for counselling are as follows –
  1. Bank Challan
  2. Result sheet
  3. Photocopy of the admit card
After the successful completion of the counselling process, the candidates are further get admission into their preferred college according marks obtained in ITICAT and the counselling session.
