Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) conducts the BCECE (Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination) also known as the Bihar CET (Common Entrance Test) is a state level examination for admission to various professional undergraduate courses in engineering colleges, medical colleges and agriculture colleges that come under the government of Bihar.
Programmes offered under BCECE Bihar CET
The various programmes offered under BCECE Bihar CET are:
Engineering/Pharmacy stream: Degree programmes offered by government and government aided technical institutions in Bihar and outside Bihar (through Bihar quota).
Medical stream: MBBS, BDS, BAMS, B.H.M.S, B.U.M.S, B.P.T., B.O.T. and other paramedical degree programmes offered by government and other institutions in Bihar.
Biotechnology/Agriculture stream: Undergraduate degree programmes offered by the Rajendra Agricultural University (RAU), Pusa, Samastipur and the Bihar Agricultural University, Sabour, Bhagalpur
BCECE Bihar CET Eligibility Criteria
The candidates score a minimum of 50 % marks in the intermediate exam conducted by a recognized board along with subjects Physics, Chemistry and Math/Biology. However, there is a relaxation of marks for SC/ST as per the Government norms. For engineering and pharmacy course there is no age limit, but for agriculture and medical courses, there is a maximum age limit of 17 years at the time of admission.
BCECE Bihar CET Application Process
Given below is the step by step process to apply for BCECE
The applicants can apply online for BCECE by visiting the BCECEB website bceceboard.com
The candidates will have to register themselves and a valid user ID and password will be generated to them
They have to use that ID and Password to fill up the application form.
After entering the relevant details, a scanned copy of the passport size photograph and signature will have to be uploaded by the candidate.
After this, go to the payment submission link and download the challan form and get three printouts for the same.
The candidates are required to pay the application fees through the designated branch of SBI (State Bank of India).
Once the registration is completed successfully, the applicants are required to send the same including Challan and other related documents by speed post or registered post to the BCECE Board.
